Gokyo trek is a very famous and adventurous trek of Nepal. It provides you with chance to explore Everest region. The trekking in the region provides scenic views of whole Solukhumbu (the heartland of Sherpa community) region, beautiful landscape and lush valley. We can have direct flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, a residence of Sherpas and home of Buddhist monasteries. Passing through this Sherpa village and monasteries we will reach Gokyo valley, from where you can enjoy the panoramic views of the gorgeous Himalayas. Trekking in this area is both thrilling and risky so one should be patient and physically healthy to enjoy the trek.

Trekking time: 3 to 4 hoursWe drive to airport early in the morning to take our flight to Lukla. The 35 minutes flight to Lukla provides the view of panorama peaks such as Langtang, Rolwaling and Annapurna Himalayan Ranges.  After flight walk along the Sherpa village, green vegetations and high cultivations. After walking for some hours through scattered villages and yak herder's camps will lead us to Phakding. Overnight at Phakding.

Trekking time: 6 to 7 hoursToday we start our trek from Phakding. We will cross suspension bridges over Dudh Koshi River around five times. We can have view of some exotic mountain such as Mt Thamserku, Langtang, Rolwaling and Annapurna himal. We, then climb up to Namche Bazaar with Everest views along the climb through the Pines forest and alpine flowers. Encountering the first view of Everest from Top Danda, we trek uphill for the next ninety minutes through pine forest to Namche bazaar overnight stay at Namche.

Today will be our rest day because rest day during trek means to hike to higher elevation and trek down back for proper acclimatization. Explore to Khumjung, Thomo or Khunde village above Namche bazaar. Namche Bazaar, itself is a tourist shopping hub with all the required trekking and mountaineering clothing and equipment. Overnight stay at Namche.

Trekking time: 6 hours After visit around the Namche area, we follow on the gradual trail with few short up and downs overlooking magnificent view of the great giant snow peaks walking gradual alongside and views with High Mountains. After Sanasa, climb to Mong La 4010m and then down to Phortse Tenga. The day’s trek involves a long tiring uphill trek through the forest of pines, oaks and rhododendrons all the way to Dole. Overnight stay at Dole

Trekking time: 4 to 5 hours After the breakfast, we climb up for thirty minutes on an open hill to the scenic ridge above the Dole. Walk along the Alpine meadow with Yaks and alpine High land Birds and flowers with Mt Cho Oyu (8153m) view. Take a short break at Luja, we continue the trek that climbs up along the side of the valley high above the rivers. We reach Machharmo.  Overnight at Machhermo.

Trekking time: 3 to 4 hours Today we will go to Gokyo Lake. One hour trek on the trail, through elevated grazing lands takes us to Phanga. At Phanga we observe the memorials of people who lost their lives during the landslides in the region. After passing Waterfalls, water from Gokyo lakes encounters us with first lake then the Second Lake than third Lake Gokyo Lake itself. It is surrounded by mountains. We will settle down in at Gokyo.

Trekking time: 4 to 5 hours Today we will watch the views around Gokyo which are truly beautiful. We will visit the local surrounding around Gokyo. After 45 minutes walk we rest and walk another one hour and forty five minutes that brings us to the Fifth Lake of Gokyo. From the Fifth Lake we can have spectacular view of Mt Everest (top of the world). The fifth lake is also popular for the views of North and South slopes of Everest. We trek back along the retracing trail to the third lake for the overnights stay.

Trekking time: 2 to 3 hours Today we will have a rest day. We will ascend to Gokyo Ri, about 2 to 3 hrs of walk takes us to Gokyo Ri. There you can have view of panorama of four 8000ers of the Himalayas that include Mt Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu and Makalu.We will retrace our way back to Gokyo for the overnight stay.

Trekking time: 4 to 5 hoursAfter your breakfast we will walk down hill along the Dudhkoshi River. We will pass through Second and First lake of Gokyo. The trial then descends to Phanka and then to village of Machhermo. You can see magnificent Himalayan peaks such as Mt Thamserku, Mt Cho Oyu and kangtega on the way. After another hour of walk will take us to dole, where we will stay the night.

Trekking time: 4 to 5 hours Today’s trek involves a long tiring uphill trek through the forest of pines, oaks and rhododendrons all the way to Namche. We will follow the trial to Namche. On our way you can spot mountain goat, Musk deer, pheasant and more.  We will also look back to see Lhotse, tengboche and everest for one last time. After some walk we will reach to Namche for the overnight stay.
